The writing was phenomenal. I was gripped from the very beginning, then dragged along by multiple emotions at any point. It never let up, throwing intimate moments, crazy reveals, and absolutely perfect art one after the other. I am in love with how expressive the sprites are; you perfectly captured the impressions of every character/expression.
The deciphering of the video was very cleverly done. It made so much sense and flowed so naturally. I was also at the edge of my seat (figuratively) the whole time waiting for the next bit. How you programmed it to sync the sound effects with the pauses was just *chefs kiss*.
There're so many ways you can apply the message of the story, so this will definitely be one that I'll be thinking about for some time. Thanks for the awesome read!
Jus, wow, what a gripping and engaging story. It takes a little while to really get going, but when it does, you’re hooked! The only real problem I’ve got with the story is that we don’t get to see Carter prechange enough, I feel. Maybe an additional flashback scene just before Hartman starts really suspecting things would have helped.
The visual style is very distinct but you get used to it. It doesn’t seem to have any big meaning, but it works. And it’s used extremely well. The little animations and all enhance the story really well.
The music fits well, and the sound effects, notably during the hypnosis tape, really immerse you.
Although, I’m wondering about the text speed. It seems designed to be played with non-infinite cps, but the default is infinite. Probably should change that. There are a few times where the wrong name is displayed, and Carter’s big snake is missing at least once.
Overall, my new Novembuck favourite. MR BIG really uses text, visuals and audio in perfect communion. Hard to imagine this is the author’s first VN. Impressive work!

Oh wow that was amazing, the writing is done so well, the accompanying art style, the collage work makes it so uncanny yet the abstractness of it was adding to it, and that reveal omg.
I'm an absolute sucker for unique aesthetics in visual novels, and this certainly delivers! It's equal parts comedic and disturbing, which comes across in the story itself - the VN striking a great balance between both ends all throughout its runtime!
